Development of a Obstacle-Avoiding Robotic Car

The ability to avoid obstacles as a robot is crucial in order to not let the robot get stuck. 
Using infrared sensors are often heavier, more expensive, and harder to build. 
My robotic car uses lever switches to change direction and avoid getting stuck when pressed. 
When robots get stuck, you would have to manually take the robot and face it in another direction. 
With the robotic car I have developed, people can see how using lever switches is simple and easy when it comes to obstacle-avoiding.
This is going to be able to help roamer robot-building companies to build roamers which can use lever switches as a cheaper and more affordable option to let the roamer be obstacle-avoiding.
I also hope that building this simple but useful roamer will tell potential young engineering enthusiasts that building useful robots is not that hard.
